Zero-P Spacer

توضیحات

قطعه‌ی ZERO-P® Spacer، نوعی ابزار برای Stand-Alone Anterior Cervical Interbody Fusion میباشد که طراحی آن ترکیبی از مزایا و عملکرد قطعاتِ Cervical Interbody Spacer و Anterior Cervical Plate است.

برخلاف سیستم‌های قدیمی Anterior Plating،Spacer ZERO-P از محدوده‌یِ فضایِ دیسک بین مهره‌ای بیرون نمی‌زند. طراحی پلاکِ بکار رفته در این قطعه به گونه‌ای است که تماس آن با ساختارهای آناتومیک اطراف را به کمترین میزان کاهش داده و از تماس با سطوح مجاور (Adjacent Level) نیز جلوگیری می‌نماید.

ایمپلنتSpacer ZERO-P، به منظور تثبیت در بدنه‌ی مهره‌های مجاور، دارای چهار عدد پیچِ Rigid Locking میباشد. طبق تست‌های بیومکانیکی، حین حرکات کششی-خمشی (Flexion-Extension) و چرخش محوری (Axial Rotation)، تثبیتِ قطعاتی که دارای چهار عدد پیچ Rigid هستند نسبت به قطعاتی که تنها دو عدد پیچ Non-Rigid دارند، محکم‌تر (Rigid Fixation) میباشد.*

1. Zero-Profile

کمترین میزان سطح تماس با ساختارهای آناتومیکی اطراف (minimize contact with local anatomical structures)

در شرایطی که ZERO-P® Spacer در مجاورت فیوژن‌های پیشین قرار داده میشود، میتواند روند جراحی را تسهیل نماید

2. چهار پیچِ Locking که با زوایای واگرا در داخل پلاک قرار می‌گیرند

پیچ‌های Locking در بدنه‌ی مهره‌های مجاور ایجاد Bone Wedge می‌نمایند
در هر سطح، دو عدد پیچ برای تثبیت قرار می‌گیرد
هدف از این طراحی فراهم آوردن بیومکانیکی مشابه با ساختارِ Traditional 4 Screw One-Level Plate and Spacer میباشد

موارد کاربرد

موارد کاربرد:

سطح داخلی قطعه‌ی Spacer از ایمپلنت Zero-P باید با پیوند استخوانیِ Autogenous پک شده و با بکار گیری روش Anterior Approach جایگذاری گردد.

skeletally mature patients with degenerative disc disease (DDD) with accompanying radicular symptoms at one level from C2-T1. (DDD is defined as discogenic pain with degeneration of the disc confirmed by history and radiographic studies. These patients should have had six weeks of non-operative treatment).

موارد عدم کاربرد:

Use of the DePuy Synthes Zero-P is contraindicated when there is active systemic infection, infection localized to the site of the proposed implantation, or when the patient has demonstrated allergy or foreign body sensitivity to any of the implant materials.
Severe osteoporosis may prevent adequate fixation and thus preclude the use of this or any other orthopaedic implant.
Severe obesity or degenerative diseases are relative contraindications. The decision whether to use these devices in such conditions must be made by the physician taking into account the risks versus the benefits to the patient.
Use of these implants is relatively contraindicated in patients whose activity, mental capacity, mental illness, alcoholism, drug abuse, occupation, or lifestyle may interfere with their ability to follow postoperative restrictions. These patients may place undue stresses on the implant during bony healing and may be at a higher risk of implant failure.
